Emeraldene Sugar Estate is a private 216 hectare sugar cane farm situated on the coast of Zululand, just over an hour drive from Durban. 

We offer exclusive weddings at the homestead which is set in 3 hectares of indigenous garden and green lawn with a large swimming pool and a tennis court.  The most picturesque of settings: beautiful bird life amidst the lush shrubs and trees and water fountain - a perfect backdrop for your wedding photos. The gazebo nestles in the bottom of the garden shaded by a  giant yellow wood tree......

Our function room seats maximum 60 guests.  It is fully carpeted with overhead fans, and large windows that overlook the lovely gardens. The reception room leads into an air-conditioned bar where there is a parquet floor dance area. There is also an inter-leading buffet room for a self service buffet.
