Welcome to Emeraldene Sugar Estate

Emeraldene Sugar Estate is a private 216 hectare cane farm situated on the Coast of Zululand just over an hours drive from Durban. 

We specialize in smaller, more intimate weddings to suit your budget.  The garden boasts the most picturesque of settings in “out of Africa” style. 3 hectares of lush green lawn surrounded by indigenous trees and shrubs and natural African birds  and a large swimming pool complete with water fountain and wooden bridge... a perfect backdrop for your wedding photos. 

The gazebo for your wedding ceremony nestles in the bottom of the garden shaded by a giant yellow wood tree. Lots of lovely settings to choose from:

  • The 22 hectare farm dam
